Grishneshwar (also known as Ghrishneshwar) is the twelfth and last of the sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, located near the world-famous Ellora Caves in Aurangabad district, Maharashtra. The current temple was rebuilt by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore in the 18th century in classical South Indian–Hemadpanthi fusion style with exquisite red stone carvings. The temple features five-tiered shikhara, intricate carvings depicting scenes from Hindu mythology, and a serene sanctum housing the sacred Shivalinga. Its proximity to the UNESCO World Heritage Ellora Caves makes it a unique spiritual-and-heritage destination.
